Holiday trainings have been canceled due to the fact that we didn't manage to successfully book the pool. So meanwhile, you guys train on your own please!

Also, hope that all of you did your best during CTS, enjoy your holidays, & we look forward to seeing all of you at camp 12 days from now!

Camp Update

Hello my lovely water babies. (:

So far, proposal has been handed up to EO. He wasn't around this afternoon, so i did not have the chance to discuss anything with him. Other than that... Camp package is still ????? (Casey- any updates?), training program has been pretty much done with by xiaen, and jill's done planning games. NOW TO EXECUTE! You guys won't know the program until the day itself, cause it will be a surpriseee! :D Also, the to-bring list will be out in about two weeks time. Kindly check your emails or check back here.

Holiday training starts 15th December. Mondays, wednesdays, fridays; 530-730.

Bkt Batok Swimming Carnival

We're meeting at 830 at bkt batok mrt station. The event starts at 9, so let's meet on time kay! Also, attire will be : IVP 2008 com suit and the gray arena shirt.

swim camp meeting

Tmr (28/11) will be our last training tmr before you guys really start to cram for CT. Whereas us 3 lucky nursing babes, namely min, cheryl, and i will be chillax-ing cause our papers are over and done with! :D So see you guys at the pool tmr 530!

I/C's for the upcomming NP Swim Team Bonding Camp:
There will be a meeting after training. You know who you guys are. I know you guys are "mugging" and all, but because EO's really kicking our butts (i quote xianen), we reallyyyy need to get down to finalizing our plans, or whatever that we have left that hasn't been rejected by our dearest advisor. I need to go meet up with EO this monday to present the proposal, so we need to get our act together by then. Min will be out of town monday onwards, so any volunteers to join me into the lion's den? Just for everyone's info, camp I/C's are as follows:

arena sale

If you guys have read the papers, there's an arena warehouse sale going on until the 29th of november. If i'm not wrong, swimsuits start from $10. More details are on today's LIFE! section. Ask casey or myself if you need more info (address...).

Happy birthday, jill!

A few of us got down to celebrating jill's birthday yesterday. Why weren't more of you there! You guys missed out on emicakes' durian cake, and jill getting so high she started singing songs!

Also, i was thinking, it's sorta expensive for everyoneeeee to buy a cake for each swimmer's birthday, so it would prolly be more economical to just collate all the swimmer's birthdays and buy a cake once every month for whose ever's birthday. Only exception will be march, cause it's my birthday. :D KAYY, KIDDING! Lemme know what you guys think. (:

Update for camp:
EO has pretty much turned down all our prior plannings for the swim camp. So more DETAILED planning will ensue during this period. I know everyone's busy with CTs, projects, and whathaveyou, but pleaseeeee, do your little part for swimming if you can. If you've been asked to help to do something, do it! (*BIG HINT TO LUKE). I'm sure all of us want to have a successful swim camp right! And just to get everyone hyped up, we have 18 swimmers attending camp! Big surprise right?! Let's all pray and work hard for the camp to take place. (:

Cheryl says she has received the arena catalogue already. If anyone is interested in purchasing swimming suits, caps, towels, shirts, or whathaveyou, please come down on monday to order! The items would prolly take 2 weeks to arrive, so the faster we order, the faster we get our stuff. So hurry, chop chop!

ok good. we dont have to do msn conference anymore which was super irritatingly confusing. hah. and we never seem to be able to stick to one topic there. so yes.

ppl! please drop ideas on when exactly you guys want the camp to be. the only days available where (hopefully) everyone will be free are from 29 dec to 4th jan week.

and any ideas on catering? oh and what you guys would like to do during the camp.

p/s: its gonna be a stayover camp. 3 days 2 nights.

Hello people!

This is the very first post for the NP swim blog. All notices, announcements, and whatever admin stuff should be posted here. Our training schedule doesn't ever change cause it's always at the same place, same time. But do check back sometimes!
